Ultra Connect Launched ESLC FC 2024 eSports Tournament in a Modified Trailer Truck
Upon launching its new service "Ultra Connect", Connect (The ISP company) organized the E- Sports Libya Championship (ESLC) tournament in EA's FC24 game. For the first time, the tournament was held in a fully equipped modified trailer truck that traveled between three Libyan cities (Benghazi, Al Bayda, Tripoli) to allow players from all over the country to participate.
80 of the best players in Libya participated in the tournament. The qualifiers kicked off in Benghazi on December 1, 2023, and lasted for 9 days, with 3 players qualifying for the final round. The tournament then moved to Al Bayda for 4 days, where 16 players competed and 2 qualified for the finals. Finally, the tournament moved to Tripoli and lasted for 7 days, with 32 players competing and 3 qualifying for the final round.
On February 10, 2024, the final round was held in the city of Benghazi, which brought together the top 8 most qualified players in Libya. Abdul Fadil Al-Qattaani from Al Bayda won first place after a very competitive session, while Nadhir Al-Haji came in second place.
The tournament was sponsored by Connects new "Ultra Connect" service, which provided participants with a high-speed and incredibly stable internet connection. The winners received valuable prizes, while the event achieved its goal of giving players the opportunity to experience the free internet service from Connect, which is characterized by its unparalleled speed in Libya.
