Al-Marj Medical Hospital is one of the key healthcare facilities in the Eastern region, providing specialized medical services that require a robust technological infrastructure to support daily operations and ensure the quality and security of all activities within the hospital.

Case Study

Before the project implementation, the hospital faced several technical challenges, including a weak internal network, the absence of a comprehensive surveillance system, limited communication between departments, and service interruptions during power outages.

ION Telecom and Technology delivered a fully integrated solution to upgrade the hospital’s infrastructure. The project included:

•  Security Surveillance System (CCTV): High-resolution indoor and outdoor cameras, along with digital NVR recorders with large storage capacity.
•   Integrated LAN Network: Cabling, switches, routers, and Wi-Fi access points to cover all departments.
•   Internal Communication System (VoIP): Network phones and a central server to streamline communication across departments.
•   Backup Power Systems (UPS): Ensuring continuous operation of the network and surveillance systems during power outages.
•     Central Control Room: For monitoring and managing all systems from a single point.

The project enhanced the hospital’s security, improved network stability, and ensured seamless communication between medical and administrative departments.
